“ I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend, and my first impression was how spacious and comfortable the place is. It was the first time I had ever witnessed such a large Vietnamese restaurant model – really impressive but it is a slight shame that such a large-scale and high-quality restaurant is only located in Doncaster rather than major cities like Leeds, Manchester or London. What I really appreciated was the service from the foh manager, Toan. He was extremely friendly and attentive, recommending dishes that perfectly suit both Western tastes and traditional Vietnamese flavours. I was honestly surprised to know that the restaurant offers a total of 103 dishes – an astonishing number compared to many other restaurants across the UK. Toan’s dedication really stood out. He even prepared a traditional Vietnamese coffee with a unique three-layer style (milk – coffee – milk), which I absolutely loved. (Bro, this is the new thing I have ever known) The Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup) here is incredibly authentic, just like the true flavour of Hue, complete with pork blood – something I have been searching for for a long time. I would like to state that wheb the broth is this good, the whole dish becomes an instant winner. Thank you to the whole team for the amazing food, and special thanks to Toan for his heartfelt and professional service. “ We recently visited La Vietnamese and were impressed from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. We enjoy spice, but it wasn’t overpowering, just the right level to complement the flavours. We ordered a range of dishes, each one completely different, yet they all worked nicely together. The atmosphere was brilliant. Vibrant and welcoming, and we liked the decor. Even though it was busy when we visited, the staff were attentive, and made us feel comfortable. Prices felt very fair for the quality and portion sizes. We left happy, full, and will be back again. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food it’s worth a visit. ”

“ From the beautiful deco, to the delicious food - this place is absolutely fantastic My friend and I came here today hoping to shelter from the rain and we were so glad this is the place stumbled into! The staff were so lovely and helpful. My friend is vegetarian and our kind waiter offered insight into the menu and mentioned how the dishes could be changed to suit her vegetarian needs (oyster/fish sauce -> soy sauce). It felt like nothing was too much I wish I took note of his name so I could give him a special mention. The food was so nice, we ordered Pho ( I ordered the special and my friend ordered the vegetarian) we also shared some summer roles. Everything was sdo fresh and tasty~ I must come back next time with my husband! Thank you to everyone here who made our meal special I'll recommend you to everyone I know travelling to Doncaster. ”

We stopped by for a little "pho-nomenal" feast, and let’s just say... we’re considering applying for Vietnamese citizenship now. We had: – Aromatic pho that could heal your soul (and maybe your hangover) – Crispy tofu bites – so addictive they should come with a warning – Chicken wings packed with so much flavour they almost flew off the plate – And enough fresh herbs to start our own jungle La Vietanamise is a cosy little gem in Doncaster with a warm vibe, lovely staff, and food that hits every flavour note.
